Default Gothic & Lolita Bible English...Dead?

Ok is it just me or has no one seen or heard any news of Tokyopop releasing anymore issues of the English copies of the the GLB. Its been about nearly a year since the last issues Vol.5 came out. Is Tokyopop going to pick it back up again? Or are we looking at another magazine cut by Tokyopop due to the bad economy?

yes it's dead

they were actually supposed to come out with a 6th then compile them all together into one big GLB (they told me this at comic-con... and it still hasn't happened)

but they never got around to it... Tokyopop's been going through tough times.... just like most anime/ manga companies around (they just are very secretive AND very bankrupt)

they said they were going to make more... but don't count on it

and don't bother asking on their forums... they don't answer anything... and their release schedule is total BS... they don't really follow it... at all

Oh man! Well that sucks so bad! I was wondering what was up!
I hope they will bring it back! But I doubt it! *sob*

ah well-it was good while it lasted. I had noticed that even the japanese editions in my local international bookshop were all back issues...

at least you have those. I started seeing the Japanese GLBs disappear from the only local manga shop 1-2 years ago. hopefully when I visit them soon they'll have them stocked again it it won't be that they just stopped getting them all together.

I hope you'll be able to get the new ones too

Oh gosh! I knew something was up. They were releasing them pretty often and then all of a sudden - BANG! - they quit. I still check the shelves for new ones at my local B&N, just in case.
I'm really sad :/
